Daissy Dominguez is an alumni member of the JEP. Pursuing a legal career dedicated to social justice, Daissy Dominguez founded the Dominguez Legal Justice Center, LLC (DLJC) to focus on immigration and landlord/tenant disputes. Ms. Dominguez obtained her Bachelors from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School. DLJC offers innovative ways of providing affordable representation by incorporating the client into the process and working together as a team to meet the clients needs. Ms. Dominguez believes in taking a holistic approach to her practice, providing not only legal representation but also connecting clients with other resources and conducting educational legal workshops within the community. Ms. Dominguez currently volunteers with the Logan Square Neighborhood Association, Erie House Neighborhood Association, Wiley Resource Center, CARPLS, and the Legal Assistance Foundation.
