A “guardian” is someone who is chosen or appointed to make legal decisions for someone who is not able to make those decisions on their own. Guardianship is often over a child or an individual who has become incapacitated through age or disability.

Brian Gilbert

Chlece Neal
Chlece Neal’s passion for law is inspired by a desire to see social justice for everyone. Alejandra Vilchis
Alejandra has a Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois at Chicago Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is also trained in Collaborative Divorce, Divorce Mediation, and Domestic Violence. Alejandra has extensive experience in family law matters such as divorce, parentage, post decree modifications and enforcement issues. Additionally, she works on adoptions (related and DCFS) and cases for guardianships of minors and disabled adults. Alejandra is an active member of the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois, Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and Collaborative Divorce Illinois. Eleanor Endzel
Eleanor “Nora” Endzel is an alumni member of the inaugural class of the JEP. Eleanor received her J.D. from the DePaul University College of Law in 2012. During law school Eleanor worked as an extern for Judge Michael B. Hyman (now a Justice of the First Appellate District) and the Honorable Judge Kathleen Kennedy in the Cook County Circuit Court’s Domestic Relations Division, where she saw time and again how people without attorneys stumbled through the litigation process. Dedicated to serving people who lack access to affordable legal services, Eleanor formed Endzel Law, LLC in 2013 and focuses exclusively on family law with an emphasis on cooperative divorce. Tiffany A. Horstein

Shunte Goss
Shunte S. Goss is a native of Chicago, Illinois, and an alumnus of the JEP. Shunte’ attended and received her undergraduate degree from Illinois State University. She graduated with a Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and went directly to work in private practice. Prior to law school, Shunte worked with individuals in many different areas.
