Keith Southam

Keith Southam founded Southam Law with the goal of empowering clients. Keith wants to ensure that his clients understand how immigration laws affect them and what options are open to them. This focus on empowering comes from Keith’s experiences prior to law school. He worked as an ESL teacher and international student advisor before turning to a legal career. During law school, he focused on immigration law, including an internship at the Chicago Immigration Court. Keith graduated from law school in 2011 and has worked in immigration law first as an associate and later by founding Southam Law. He has extensive experience with a range of immigration matters, including family-based green cards, citizenship applications, non-immigrant work visas, DACA, asylum, deportation defense, and many other areas. Keith also understands that for many clients, the costs of legal services can be difficult to pay. He takes several steps to help. First, fees are not charged hourly but are fixed ahead of time to avoid surprises. Additionally, he offers payment plans and accepts credit card to help you spread out the cost of services. Additionally, he offers different levels of service at different price points to help you chose the option you can afford.
